    Right — been using this thing for about four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d say something since someone asked me last week. Am in the UK, generally bet football and racing, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.

    Their single bet calculator is the one I’m on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and it spits out returns instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the multiples — trebles returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, honestly that’s where most people I know got it wrong.     One thing that actually made a difference were the nerdier extras. The odds-to-probability thing which shows you what margin’s baked in, and a kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutch tool is handy too for when I’m covering two or three runners.

    Not all sunshine though. Its interface looks pretty plain — zero polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s usable though the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, it’s browser only — slight shame but worth saying.

    Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. Anyone who honestly adds it up in their head, have a look — it’s saved me a fair few dumb bets I’d have regretted.

    OK — been using this thing for something like five months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d write something up since a mate asked me last week. Am UK based, generally stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, so take it how you like.

    The reason I started using it was genuinely a bit daft — I couldn’t ever figure out what an each way return would be when the place terms changed. I used to just wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.

    One thing that genuinely changed how I bet is the geekier tools. They’ve got an odds-to-probability converter which shows you what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one gets used a fair bit for when I’m covering two or three runners.

    It’s not perfect mind. The interface feels very functional, let’s say — no frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it works though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. There’s nothing on the app store, just the site — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

    So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, works. If anyone even now works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — it’s saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
